Kidder County Historical Society & Museum

This group meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month in the Trophy Room of the Steele Community Center at 7pm. They are the care takers of the Kidder County Museum.

Kidder County Junior Betterment Sonya Larson 701-475-2017
Open to young people ages 18-40, this group helps develop leadership and business skills as they work on county wide service projects. They meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Steele Community Center.

Kidder County Library & Book Club

this group meets every other Thursday, dates and hours are posted on the library window at 115 west Broadway. In addition, the Kidder County Bookmobile travels to Pettibone, Robinson, Tappen and Tuttle biweekly. During the summer, the Bookmobile also stops in Dawson. Bookmobile driver is Gayle Christenson.

This organization welcomes all veterans and meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Steele Veterans Club at 7pm.

Steele Economic Development Corporation

The Steele Economic Development Corporate meets every other month in the Steele Community Center at 7:30am. This group is dedicated to exploring new development ideas for the city of Steele. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Steele Area Betterment

The Steele Area Betterment Group is open to individuals, businesses, and non-profit groups who are interested in networking and sharing information on how their current projects are impacting the city. The group meets for a noon luncheon on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

Steele Park Board Terry Strand 475-2170
The Steele Park Board meets the 3rd Monday of every month at the Steele Community Center at 7pm. The board helps maintain the Steele park system and schedules summer programs and coaches for several programs including tee-ball, little league, babe ruth, legion and softball.
